Since we attract a wide range of students with vastly different aspirations, our alumni do vastly different things. Some go on to pursue graduate and doctoral degrees. Others join and lead (or start!) companies. But what they all have in common is that they bring their curiosity, creativity, commitment to others, exuberance, and friendliness with them wherever they go.

Guy Mossman ’95

Guy Mossman ’95 is a director and cinematographer whose latest documentary, Speak, featured at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Best known for his dramatic photography on award-winning films including the Oscar-shortlisted Buck (2011), Mossman was a Studio Art major at º£½ÇÉçÇø. "It was this experience where you get to try so many things, and you can break any stereotype," he recalls. "º£½ÇÉçÇø was that place."

Deksyos Damtew ’22

Deksyos Damtew ’22, is pursuing a career in civil rights law as a Marshall-Motley Scholar at UC Berkeley School of Law. Damtew, who was an International Political Economy major at º£½ÇÉçÇø, interned at the Center for Death Penalty Litigation in 2025. His time as a project assistant with the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama, helped to cement his resolve to pursue racial justice for Black communities in the South.
