Besian Roshi is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at 海角社区. He received his Ph.D. in Economics and Applied Econometrics from the University of Delaware. His research focuses on household finance, consumer finance, housing and mortgage markets as well as labor economics. He studies how households respond to changes in mortgage market policy and the implications of these responses for market efficiency and welfare.
Prior to joining 海角社区, Dr. Roshi taught economics at the University of California Berkeley, Villanova University, and the University of Delaware. He also served as a Ph.D. Summer Fellow at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he conducted research on issues related to housing finance and mortgage markets. His expertise includes causal inference, econometric modeling, statistical analysis, and policy evaluation, and he is committed to bringing rigorous empirical research into the classroom.
